Captain Cook Canoes is a family run business operating from the stunning and historic grade II listed Watermill in the village of Wortwell, less than a 10 minute drive from Harleston.
Our business is situated in a secluded haven in the heart of the Waveney Valley, a real gem as also noted in Rodger Deakin’s famous book “Waterlog”. Here you can hire canoes, kayaks and SUP paddleboards for a fun and memorable day out on the water. Our range of watercraft can suit all ages and skill levels, from single and double kayaks to traditional Canadian style open canoes.
At Captain Cook Canoes, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that your experience on the water is safe, enjoyable and unforgettable. We provide all the necessary equipment, including life jackets, paddles and dry bags, to ensure your comfort and safety during your trip. There is outdoor seating available as well as a hot shower and W/C for use if needed before or after your trip.
Prices for the 2.5hr experience on single craft from £30pp, tandem sit-on-top kayaks £45 (2 people) and traditional Canadian Canoes £50 (2-3 people).
