Christmas Lights Switch On
Christmas is coming and this year things will be getting back to normal as the different organisations around the town come together to bring the sparkle back to Christmas. Harleston’s Future Events Team and Harleston Town Council’s Christmas Light’s Team are busy sorting out the lights for the clocktower and around the town which will make the town look really festive.
09:30 – 17:00: St John’s Christmas Fayre. Coffee, cake and craft stalls from 9.30 onwards with light lunches available between 12:00 – 14:00pm
10:00 – 17:30: Christmas Market. On the Market Place and Exchange Street with an eclectic range of stalls, selling local produce, crafts, all manner of things Christmas as well as street food.
15:30 – 17:00: Live Entertainment. Lee Vasey will return to Harleston to provide some music to get everyone into the Christmas party mood.
14:00 – 17:00: Santa’s Grotto. Santa will be making his way from Lapland to his special grotto in Harleston Information Plus on Exchange Street. The first half hour is reserved for those who require a quieter space. The Grotto is kindly sponsored by Harleston and District Round Table.
Thanks to JD Young and their continued sponsorship of the Christmas tree for the Market Place which has now been ordered and will be delivered towards the end of November.
Roads will be closed 2.30pm to 7:00pm
